Job Description
About the position
The school is currently seeking a highly experienced Director of Learning Enhancement. This strategic and influential role reports to the Dean of Academics. The Director of Learning Enhancement will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive learning strategies that cater to the unique strengths and attributes of all students, whether they are high achievers or require additional learning support.
To achieve this, the Director of Learning Enhancement will work closely with academic leaders and manage a team of learning support teachers. This involves fostering and embedding a culture that is responsive and supportive of each student's learning needs.

Desired Skills and Experience
Qualifications and experience required:
Relevant tertiary degree and teaching qualifications; a Masters’ degree would be highly regarded
Demonstrated knowledge of processes relating to the diverse learning needs of students, including disability issues, Verification, Education Adjustment Program, NCCD, individual programming, diagnostic testing, and data collection
Proven ability to effectively manage and direct a team
Proven ability to understand diverse students’ learning styles, demonstrating effective teaching outcomes
Demonstrated success in developing and implementing innovative learning initiatives
Demonstrated ability to be innovative in curriculum design and lesson planning to ensure optimal student engagement
Experience working with curriculum development and assessment practices
Proven track record of promoting academic excellence and student well being
The ability to collaborate with staff, parents and students to support student achievement
The ability to work collaboratively and energetically within a high-performing school culture
Hold current Queensland College of Teachers registration (or eligibility to apply).
